Can confirm this bug in ubuntu 18.04. Even uncheck \"Allow the window manager
to control the windows\" and \"Allow the window manager to decorate the
windows\" dis not help.
 1. Microsoft 2013 applications are continously in the foreground 
 2. They are not managed in the task-manager (Alt+Tab)
 3. when minimized, an icon is placed on desktop left botton
