Confirming.
Native IE8 does not help, it then complains about a missing msimtf.dll COM
object.
When native msimtf is used too, it crashes due to unimplemented
IMM32.dll.CtfImmSetAppCompatFlags.
When that too is installed, it still doesn't work.
