I tried to generate a license based on the machine ID that the ID generator
returned but the Solidframework website did not accept the machine ID. It just
said "Please re-check the machine ID".

I compared the newly generated ID (generated in Wine) with the one I generated
on my Windows dev machine. The one generated in Windows is 4 characters longer
which is most likely the reason why the Wine-generated one is not being
accepted.

I assume something with the machine-ID generation still isn't working correctly
in Wine (which may also be affecting our main program at runtime). Maybe one
issue is the volume serial length?
