My comment from 2016 seems to indicate that a fix landed somewhere between
1.7.13 and 1.9.7.


As for confirming its fixed/broken status right now.
I no longer have the same hardware - Bela's comment seems to suggest it
might've been an nvidia driver exclusive issue (but again, nouveau might've
just been too slow to show the issue).



I actually did play through startopia a few weeks ago with Wine-Staging 3.8
without encountering any issues in a clean wineprefix.
I presume ORM=fbo is still the default, so I can confirm that everything works
correctly for an RX 580 w/ mesa 18.1.
