It occurs in different machines (besides my Desktop, on a ThinkPad X200
notebook [that has almost only Intel hardware], inclusive), and after a fresh
install (only with wine installed conform https://wiki.winehq.org/Ubuntu).

I've tried other "recent" distros (with kernel 4.15+) as well (including Debian
Buster, Manjaro and Arch), and all failed - please see
