It seems there's some hostility here; please let's try working with each other
and not against each other, and not assuming that the bug is invalid just
because you can't reproduce it.

In particular, although this might be an obvious misdiagnosis, the FPE
exception makes me wonder if there's a bug related to specific graphics
drivers. Perhaps a +d3d log would be useful.
