Screen shot of Wine 3.0.1 Chunky Fonts

Seeing chunky fonts in menu items. I have MacOS 10.13.5, XQuartz 2.7.11 and
wine-3.0.1 installed via brew. 

Have tried running:

winetricks allfonts fontfix fontsmooth-rgb
winetricks settings fontsmooth=gray

and changing the DPI to 120 using winecfg but not helping

Is this related to this thread?
