Tidbit: To figure out if you have the minimum requested CLR/.NET Framework
version installed without using any CLR metadata/IL/PE tools you can use:

Works most of the time.

Without that you would just get the generic error dialog: "Unable to find a
version of the runtime to run this application." error dialog.
