I had this problem until I saw this bug report. I discovered that the Unity
installer - Kubuntu 17.10 -, had set the wrong keyboard to generic 101.
Pressing default in the keyboard setup selected generic 104. Actually it's a
Logictech K350,but that one is not in the list. I also changed the repeat rate
to 2, I have coordination problems so I felt that would be best. No more stuck
keys. Skyrim works great now. I have a light flicker problem that I didn't
before. I suspect it's one or more of my mods.
