Xperia XZ has the same issue, even with the newly released Wine 3.8 build for
ARM. I believe the issue is caused by the new permission system introduced in
Android 8.0, as people with Android 7 are much less likely to encounter the
issue, however, people on Android 8 are almost guaranteed to encounter it.
I think the issue status should be advanced to New, as many users have
confirmed it. With Android 8 updates rolling out to most modern smartphones, I
think this should be addressed soon.
