Thanks for finding the download link and looking into this!

This download is the full version when a valid serial number is entered.

For this downloadable version the installer completes and Framemaker 8 installs
fine.

But the CD with the retail version (which I cannot share due to the copyright)
gives the same errors as shown in the appended log files and no files are
installed.

So I am unsure what the correct status of this error is. Should it be closed?
