Not sure if it's related to the symptom but in the log I see several:

'error C1031: swizzle mask element not present in operand "y"' (where operand
is y/z/w)

related to GL_TESS_CONTROL_SHADER type shaders, resulting in shader programs
'not successfully linked'.
