I've also tried The Witcher 3, another user has come across this issue can't
play Skyrim anymore.

We did find that it seems to be related to direct3D, as OpenGL games work such
as Doki Doki, and No Man's Sky.

I haven't tried regular Wine, but I feel this issue is to do with the Steam
update.
