Hi,
I installed winbind , the ntlm_auth is fixed but the problem is still present.
Regarding wine install, here is the script I use:
sudo dpkg --add-architecture i386 
wget -nc https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/Release.key
sudo apt-key add Release.key
sudo apt-add-repository 'deb https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/ubuntu xenial
main'
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install --install-recommends winehq-devel

It's what is provided by the winehq site.

Now, some questions:
Have you installed genealogie in 32 bits or in 64 bits ?
Do you setup a specific windows version or do you use the default one (XP) ?
Have you installed other prereqs than winbind ?

Genealogie itself needs dotnet40 and no other stuff (if I understand
correctly), if your install has no specific prefix, would another package be
present (due to previous tests ?) in the path ?

I'm on the way to reinstall a new test machine, system is up and running, I
need another couple of hours to go through all the tests.
