Did you try any of the workarounds listed in those windows threads?

In the first link above alone there is:

1. I had the same issue. Alt + Tabbing out and back to game fixed the issue. 
2. Changing the resolution to 800x600 fixes the problem as well. You can switch
it back to normal after they both get through the door.

If this works I would suggest closing this bug.
