That patch fix (v4 patch?) works well for me.  The performance was about right
too - about 5%-10% below what I get on window with the same config (I also had
youtube playing a video on a separate screen as well ;) ). Which is consistent
with how it worked with wine-staging-3.18. So I'm calling it a win!
