I am not sure what exactly do you mean? Did it break anything for you?

Or if you mean porting the patches for d3d8, the part which is important for
this game is the second patch which concerns wined3d only. I made the first one
right away mostly to bring the stateblock tests together. Yeah, the part of the
1st d3d9 patch can be ported to d3d8 (after testing that it is right thing to
do there). But please note that d3d8 SetStreamSource does not have offset
argument at all, so main issue concerned here is irrelevant for d3d8.
