confirmed also by joaopa. I also tried it, for me it doesn`t hang when i click
Graphic Setting, but when i start the game. Is that what you meant Jeff?

The game starts fine for me when ran by:

WINEDLLOVERRIDES=winegstreamer=d sine shadow.exe

Component should probably set to gstreamer or quartz, don`t know really. 

@ other reporters/commenters: Could you clearly describe when the game hangs
for you?
