Thanks.

I just wanted to prevent testers from naively downloading the questionable
application. I don't think people will look for download URLs in the history so
that's fine for me.

Why would you want to do that in the first place?

Until the issue is confirmed to affect a legit application, you don't have to
look into it, if you don't want to. There are plenty of other valid bugs to
work on in the meantime.

If you decide to look into the bug anyway, then it's your decision and
complaining about having to do it is illogical.
