This bug affects pretty much anything built on older unity versions that use
that forked mono of theirs. I had great success with the patch that increases
the timeout from 100ms to 2000ms. But, I would suggest that, instead of making
this a hard coded setting, we could try to make this a configurable setting on
wine, either via override or registry. That way this could be set when
required, and we could keep a 100ms as default.
