For every maintainer we lose, an admin has to process those requests. This
policy needs to be reconsidered. Inactive or rarely-used applications are
inevitable. It's not a sign of being a bad maintainer.

Once? After two weeks? That is truly insane and far too harsh. I'd understand
if it was all the time but it doesn't sound like it happened more than once.
