Probably not a bug in Staging.

In particular, 4.17 was the first released version to require GStreamer for
parsing of AVI, MPEG-I and WAVE files. Do you have the 32-bit GStreamer "good"
plugin set installed?

If the bug is present even with the right GStreamer plugins, can you please
attach a log with WINEDEBUG=+strmbase,+quartz,+gstreamer,+timestamp?
