I downloaded from 
https://download.cnet.com/DietOrganizer/3000-2129_4-10400494.html
 (version 300) and can confirm it doesn`t start.

Kyle, could you try "winetricks dotnet20" and see if it starts? This version
(300) then starts fine for me. Thanks for reporting back. For now setting
component to mscoree
