I don't think so. Builtin amstream is too stubby to work, and with native
quartz the patches for bug 43367 would make no difference.

Judging from the log attached to comment 1, though, the latter case seems to be
just missing GStreamer plugins. You'll need the 32-bit "bad" and "ugly" set.
