FWIW I could reproduce the same crash when adding -fstack-protector or
-fstack-protector-strong to the end of my local build flags for ntdll.dll.so.
Looks like that specific check style as in the snippet in the previous comment
appears with -fstack-protector-strong flag only, so probably this is the flag
which somehow slips into Ubuntu build.
