I've narrowed this bug report down to:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Console]
"ScreenBufferSize"=dword:0032008c
"WindowSize"=dword:0032008c

And just these three settings in Far ( Application Data/Far
Manager/Profile/generalconfig.db ):

INSERT INTO general_config VALUES('System','WindowMode',0);
INSERT INTO general_config VALUES('System','WindowMode.StickyX',1);
INSERT INTO general_config VALUES('System','WindowMode.StickyY',0);

At this point you can use any Far release at:

https://www.farmanager.com/download.php?l=en
