            Bug ID: 46575
Summary: Playing games with USB controller reduces performance
           Product: Wine
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: x86-64
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: critical
          Priority: P2
         Component: -unknown
          Assignee: wine-bugs at winehq.org
          Reporter: rbfraphael at gmail.com
      Distribution: ---

I'm using Wine for playing some games (in most times, Need For Speed Most
Wanted 2005 and FlatOut 2) and I notice that games works normal in my hardware.
But, when I try to play them with a USB controller (I've tried an parallel Xbox
Controller and a Multilaser's steering wheel), I notice that games' performance
are reduced drastically (since them works as well at 30-40 fps, with USB
controllers, they are running between 10-15 fps). Not tried other games. Note:
using Valve's Steam Proton, all games (on my Steam account, I'm playing
Overcooked, Max Payne 3, Xpand Rally Xtreme, Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft
Auto San Andreas) that runs inside Proton works correctly when using USB
controllers.

Need For Speed Most Wanted 2005 - Tested on Wine 4.0 (staging)
FlatOut 2 - Tested on Wine 3.0 (comes from GOG port -
