Thanks.  The game still has a further bug in that it will only run for about 35
minutes (flawlessly though, both with and without DXVK) on the Nuketown map
before it will just lock up, I suspect some issue with thread safe behavior but
that bug is going to be very hard to track down, I don't even have an idea how
to approach it at this point.  I also don't know if the Linux kernel change is
a problem with Linux (bad change) or wine (needs to set up PTRACE_POKUSER calls
differently to comply with the new Linux change), I just don't know enough
about these low level function interfaces.
