Can confirm that this bug still exists if wine is built with the default system
compiler (clang).

If one applies the same changes in
https://svnweb.freebsd.org/ports?view=revision&revision=491148 to the
emulators/wine-devel port to instead build it with GCC, the installer runs
without issue.
