This works fine for me with (selfcompiled) wine-staging
(wine-4.3-339-g865d4c3c72 (Staging)
and on top of that Fabian`s patch from 
https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=63951&action=diff

Same issue as firefox (this is just a clone)

The installer had a crash but the app was installed anyway.
