Well, patchset is only solves launching for me. Btw, it works with Win98 and ME
only and requires running directly from a game folder. Anyway the game stops
with 'Program will be terminated' error message after a while when background
animation is enabled. Disabling this setting helps a bit until I start a
training mission. Then I get this error again at the end of level loading.
