This time I tested it on a 2010 macbook running High Sierra 10.13.6, running on
a NVIDIA GeForce 320M 256 MB.

There are basically no difference compared to previous wine releases. Dunno,
maybe the game is trying something unsound like directly accessing the hardware
and then segfaulting when the operation obviously fails?
