I kept an eye on the memory usage and... the application seems to leak around
15 MB a minute. Eventually it hits a ceiling and simply dies. It seems to be a
2 GB ceiling but I'd have to confirm that for certain.

Valgrind, apparently, won't work. A multiarch thing. I'll look at that later.
