Hi,

I AFAICT  patches from Derek which are still pending on the list seem to help
here:

I applied both patches, did a winetricks msxml3 msxml6 and that did get Altium
Designer a tiny bit further (to run into  a next crash)


For now AFAICT it looks like patches seem to help so I add 
 keyword patch for now
