Frankly; I've never tried. I spent a bit of time adding some basic tests for
this to winetricks (built helloworld.exe with mono's mcs, then added that to
winetricks_dotnet_verify).

4.0 and 4.5 work, but 4.6.1/4.6.2/4.7.1/4.7.2 fail. I couldn't test 4.8, as
mono's mcs doesn't support building 4.8.

To be fair, I haven't tested the binaries on Windows.
