           Summary: compiling fails in preloader.c with undefined
                    reference to memset due to -nodefaultlibs
           Product: Wine
           Version: 5.6
          Hardware: x86-64
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: blocker
          Priority: P2
         Component: loader
          Assignee: wine-bugs at winehq.org
          Reporter: jhopper at safe-mail.net
      Distribution: ---

Created attachment 66884
  --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=66884
the compile error

this problem in version 5.6 from what I see not in 5.1 and I think also not in
5.2

when -nodefaultlibs removed it compiles but unable to load kernelbase.dll at
runtime and/or segfaults on wine notepad
