[Bug 14838] TMPDIR environment variable is not used at all

Now, we also have $XDG_RUNTIME_DIR. I don't know if this would be of any use to
Wine or not. systemd should make this directory available at log-in.

Is this true anymore? Each server creates its own private directory in /tmp so
it should be able to do that anywhere.
