Maybe it is too early for this report, then please apologize and ignore:

The new wineusb.sys assumes that the name of the libusb header file is
libusb.h. 

At least on Ubuntu 18.04 the include file is named usb.h. (see
https://packages.ubuntu.com/bionic/i386/libusb-dev/filelist)
