I have a number of skills assigned to key combinations ALT+(1..6).

Those do not work, and it's not that ALT would get ignored, there is no
reaction at all (ie, it does not just send 1..6).

I didn't know what specifically I could try to test stuff, so I started a
notepad.exe with the same launcher script (same WINEPREFIX, same wine binary,
same settings, ...) and there I was able to press ALT+(menu hotkeys, but letter
characters). But that is not a fullscreen application with DX, so I don't know
what else might differ.

I then went to search, found the forum entry, grepped in the git log a bit and
found that commit which seemed reasonable to be reverted for a try. So I did,
and without those changes, the key combinations work as before.
