Wine is already supporting some kernel drivers?
Then, I can absolutely see why you just cannot get network or graphics ones to
work, but exposing /dev/cpu/#/msr doesn't sound different than working with any
other ioctl. 

But not like I'm going to dev this myself, so better if I stop it here (I think
Zebediah had expressed mild interest in bug 25087?).
