I tried it and also got "access violation" messagebox.

@Joerg: Could you try if attached patch helps for you? It makes the error go
away for me, and gets me up to the (google mail) login window.

Below is from +loaddll,+seh log; Apparently it doesn`t like
taskbar_list_RegisterTab returning E_NOTIMPL afaict

don`t really get what you meant with:
