What exactly do you mean by "mounted folder"?
I tried running chromium from "E:\" on my windows install, and it works fine.
But that won't work on wine, because of that regression.
Linux does not have the concept of drive letter, still I'd expect the "Z:\"
drive in Wine to work properly.
