I tried reproducing this, and I can indeed see that the game works fine with
Wine 5.10 and then reproduce a crash with Wine 5.15, but it's also apparently
fixed with Wine 6.0-rc1, so I guess there's not much to do here and I don't
know if it's worth spending more time bisecting.

Could you confirm that it's now working?
