The issue is likely that you're using the "DirectDrawRenderer" registry setting
(as mentioned in comments 23 and 24). That setting was deprecated in Wine 4.0,
in favour of the more generic "renderer" setting. In Wine 5.1, the
"DirectDrawRenderer" setting was removed.

I.e., try renaming "DirectDrawRenderer" to "renderer".
