Your comment make me think you managed to run Lightroom 9.1 in wine 5.0...

I tested Lightroom 6.x (64 bits) in wine 4.0.x last year, with no success . So
I'm a bit curious: did you apply some specific patch or native dll
installation?

Does Lightroom 9.1 run well?

I managed yesterday to compile a WoW64 wine 5.0-rc4 in an Ubuntu 19.10 box, but
I was not able to even install Lightroom 8.3.1.

Sorry for the trouble in this bug report, but I didn't know how to contact
you...
