Maybe I was a bit unclear, I didn`t mean a duplicate of your previous filed bug

Yes, apparently it does; probably a leftover from some code that once was
usefull to workaround wine insufficiency but now causes troubles ....

For all these VST plugins: yes please do. They all seem to contain the same
code base (in which they detect wine). For other apps/programs of course not. 

I`ll resolve this as duplicate then as it seems really same issue as in bug
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=46314
