The Mesa packages are not available through buster-backports.
I looked at what 'cherry-picking' then from Testing would entail but it
requires upgrading pretty much everything starting with the libc, libc++, etc.

So the only option is to upgrade to Testing. Maybe the time has come but the
risk is that Testing has new bugs so that we don't gain much. The best would be
to set up a separate VM so their WineTest results can be compared before making
the switch.
