Backtrace from crash in wine-5.0 (Ubuntu 5.0-3ubuntu1)
Noise is still mixed into the sound and it still crashes in wine-5.0 (Ubuntu
5.0-3ubuntu1). Interestingly if I remove the PEDIA folder then it doesn't crash
(at least not within the first couple of minutes of play).
It is most likely a memory safety issue. It sounds like the sound buffer has
junk in it. The PEDIA folder most likely moves things around in memory so the
memory corruption becomes benign.
