here an update of the issue : 

stable  Version 5.0.1 is working (trace attached)
devel   Version 5.13 is not working - BROKEN PIPE (trace attached)
staging Version 5.13 is not working - BROKEN PIPE (trace attached)

this is a regression since version 5.8
