FWIW I tried trial and cannot reproduce the crash from comment 1.

@OP: does the crash happen with the trial for you too?

Side note: when version set to (default) win7 there`s an annoyingly error
window (ole error 0x80004001) at start and exit, but you can click "continue"
and the app seems to work as expected.

I`ll open bugreport for the errorwindow.
